Update from the Farm

Welcome to December at the Nashama Equine & Wellness Farm. Like most, we are wondering how we got here as we race towards New Year.

Nashama Wellness Shop

Nashama Wellness has been busy pushing out our corporate gift packs.

With something like 1000 bars of soap headed out the door, it’s time to make some new ones so ordering has been concentrated on any restocks of soap and lip balms. I have been playing with a couple of new techniques, heat transfer and graffiti decorations.

Currently curing in the Soap Cave and ready in mid-February 2026 are:-

Cool Water for Men (Type) (restock);

·

Black Raspberry & Vanilla (restock); and;

A rather badly behaved new fragrance, Wild Hibiscus, which may end up in the Seconds Bin, but may reform while going through Gel Phase, or may just end up in the bin, who knows!

I am always working on something new with natural fibres, so keep an eye on the Textile Art section of the shop. Each piece is unique and made as a one-off, so once it’s sold, it’s gone.

Nashama Qigong

With the day job in summer mode, time has been limited for Qiqong, yoga and health coaching.  Looking ahead to 2026, it will be the Year of the Fire, of Crimson, Horse. 2025 was the Year of the Wood Snake, which challenged us to shed those things that no longer served us. Looking ahead, the Fire Horse asks us to respond to change swiftly, and with courage, dignity and swift thinking. Be mindful the Fire Horse asks us to respond to change, not react to change.

Nashama Equine & Canine

Glen has been busy pre-Christmas. He will take a short break between Christmas and New Year. His clients are enjoying their specially crafted Christmas packs and any excess will be loaded onto the web site for sale shortly.

Glen still has a few openings in his schedule left for new clients with the retirement of some of his oldest clients from horse and donkey ownership, including those in the Junee and Gundagai areas.

Farm Life

Summer is proving a bit erratic, 35 degrees one day, 15 the next, lots of storms. Our 30 year old’s rug is definitely not put away yet.

Until next month!

Julia & Glen
