Newsletter July 2025

Welcome to the end of July. It’s been out usual Winter-busy time for Nashama Wellness, but Winter-quiet for Nashama Equine & Canine and on the farm, so onwards to July’s happenings!

Nashama Wellness Shop

Getting new products into production is still on holiday as I have plenty of Paleo, organic stock, however I finally put some scarves and cowls in the shop. I always have something on the crochet hook from natural fibres, so keep an eye on the Textile Art section of the shop. These are all one-offs, so once an item is gone, it is gone. I finally have the Konjac Sponges back in stock.

I am still playing in the eco-friendly concrete space and found some insert moulds  for my Constellation Jars.

One of the challenges of these home-made, eco-friendly jars Is our highly variable climate, and it is better to make inserts for the jars than try and pour candles in the jar. The challenge to find insert moulds the right size has taken a while, but I found some.

They came with another lovely jar mould which fits in with our plan to have only guaranteed eco-friendly, entirely Australian manufactured from Australian ingredients, jars. When the mass-produced glass jars are sold, we will only have the eco-friendly concrete jars, tealights, spa cups, melts and travel tins.

Something I do like to do with the spa cups and tealights is use them with my Zen Pots, which are heating pad Melt warmers. I find this very clean way to do flameless candles.

I have not done much with sublimation as I have decided just the vinyl transfer textiles is enough in that space unless I have a custom order. It’s not that I do not enjoy it, it’s that I do not have enough space or time so concentrating on soap accessories is more where I need so spend the time I have.

I have been playing with art resin, both epoxy and UV. I am ridiculously proud of my first effort and decided I love the pretty effects, in addition to the  strength and versatility of art resins. It may be a while but keep an eye out for soap dishes and wine butler and tray sets.

Nashama Equine & Canine

Deep winter is proving to have been a long period of dry followed by wet, so hooves are cracking around the region, abscesses are blowing, and bodywork from slipping and sliding in the mud is welcomed by horses on his client list. As always, for horses we have natural Epsom Salts for soaking hooves and the only Organic Abscess and Thrush formulation on the market.

The dogs approve of their new chariot and their PR job is going well. George is starting to hit his stride now he understands not every dog is out to get him. Jake is his normal outgoing self. For Canines, we still have some Indi’s Formulation Organic Dog & Horse Shampoo, and Jake’s range of natural shampoo and Puppy pee spray. I recommend our Organic Herbal Balm as a paw balm.
